Two core orientations were defined at the project planning stage. First, fully integrate local Nanjing culture to create an atmosphere blending retro modern style and oriental elegance through the collocation of materials and spaces. Second, respond to national development requirements for green buildings by prioritizing low-carbon, recyclable and long-life construction materials for decoration, so as to create a healthy and safe indoor environment for guests.

The hotel public area establishes a rational spatial tone through the contrast between light and dark grey tones, while three-dimensional modeling breaks the flat monotony. Designers fully exploit the malleability of Dongpeng Eco Stone: the dark-hued flooring features mirror-like texture and a compressive strength of 94MPa, balancing visual transparency and physical durability.

The light grey wall cladding delivers a composed and grand aura, forming a tactile contrast of warmth and coolness alongside metallic and glass materials. Leveraging the full-body processability of Eco Stone, the elevator lobby adopts vertical segmented three-dimensional forms to enhance spatial depth. With the interplay of light and shadow, the material and craftsmanship jointly create an immersive contemporary aesthetic experience.

The flooring and countertops in the guest room lounge are both constructed with Dongpeng Eco Stone. Supported by the brand’s diversified surface finishing technologies, exclusive textures are customized for varied spaces. The matte Eco Stone boasts an exquisite, soft frosted surface that avoids glare from lamp reflection, neutralizing the stark coldness of stone and crafting a tranquil, relaxing sleeping atmosphere.

the project are custom-fabricated with light-toned textured Eco Stone. The flowing light grey texture integrates seamlessly with the hotel’s minimalist overall style. The material features outstanding stain resistance and easy-to-clean performance. Its dense, non-porous surface prevents stain penetration. Common spills such as alcohol, coffee and food broth can be wiped off effortlessly, greatly cutting daily cleaning and maintenance expenses. In addition, it supports elaborate customized processing including irregular corners and rounded chamfers, balancing practical functionality and premium aesthetic texture.
For bathroom areas, the processing merits of eco-stone are fully leveraged with an integrated wall-and-floor layout, together with integrated water barriers made of the same material. The bathroom floor is finished with a special antique surface treatment to drastically enhance anti-slip performance under wet conditions.
